Pencil.
Paper.
Presence.

Brian Finn is a Montreal-based graphic designer and illustrator who works almost exclusively in pencil, black and white, all line and light. His drawings balance rigorous draftsmanship with a lived-in pulse, capturing presence as much as likeness. Each original is signed, dated, and embossed with the Finn Art stamp.

The work listens while it looks. Influenced by music, sport, and street culture, Brian composes portraits with photo-real clarity and expressive edges, the tiny white highlight in the eye shifting attitude from reflective to defiant. It’s classical technique tuned to contemporary rhythm.

Finn Art exists to make this studio practice collectible and wearable. Originals are one-of-one; limited giclée prints (editions of 100) are produced on on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm, a fine art, archival paper trusted by galleries worldwide, with optional framing. Small-batch merch is locally printed with water-based inks, built to be lived with, not just looked at.
